Has anyone managed, or think it's possible to capture face motion using say, facesight with a primesense mounted on the neck, gollum-from-the-hobbit style? Here's a picture: http://www.wired.com/geekdad/wp-content ... motion.jpg The purpose of this of course is to do performance capture rather than just motion capture. Thank you |

Hey I have tried performance capture techniques with cameras mounted to the head and I can say that it worked fine. Obviously the less occlusion you can create with your head mount the better |

I have done performance capture with ipisoft but for the face I used a gopro cam and ran it through matchmover to grab the points on the face. Then constrained them to bones and cleaned up. |
