Post subject:  capturing face at the same time as movement
Has anyone managed, or think it's possible to capture face motion using say, facesight with a primesense mounted on the neck, gollum-from-the-hobbit style?

The purpose of this of course is to do performance capture rather than just motion capture.

Hey

I have tried performance capture techniques with cameras mounted to the head and I can say that it worked fine. Obviously the less occlusion you can create with your head mount the better

What kind of software did you use and where can you find a primesense camera and and a facesight mount?

Have you done performance capture with ipisoft?

I have done performance capture with ipisoft but for the face I used a gopro cam and ran it through matchmover to grab the points on the face. Then constrained them to bones and cleaned up.
