Hi, I was testing the iPi recorder with two kinects and the openni drivers with no problem, I was moving the Kinects around the room to find the right spot when sudnnely the dreaded usb disconnect sound popped up and it stopped recognizing the kinects. I uninstalled all drivers and installed the SDK 1.8, it worked but now I have the "usb connector to which the kinect sensor is attached does not have sufficient bandwidth" message on one kinect or if I plug it to the "Eton USB 3.0" port it recognizes both fine but when I go to set up. it just freezes. I just don't know what else to do, why can't I use the openni drivers anymore?. |

Hi Have you tried:
By "openni", did you mean PrimeSense drivers for Kinect which can me installed with iPi Recorder, or some other drivers? What's your OS, by the way? |

Hi, I'm using Windows 7, I think that was part of the problem, ultimately I uninstalled all the windows kinects SDK and drivers and re installed the prime sense drivers, now it's working again, it's weird because I had re installed the drivers as soon as I had the problem, so I'm kind of weary because I think it can happen again anytime. Maybe it could have been multiple conflicting drivers. Anyway, It´s solved momentarily, anyone has had this problem before? |
