First let me start by say how great and exciting it is to be working with this software.

We have done some tests however we want to setup 6 play station eye cameras.

I have found alot of information about what usb controllers don't work.

USB 2 NEC and USB 2 HUB ones

and

also

USB 3 NEC and the VIA one.

If any can or could confirm if any of the following work that would be great.

i have the following setup

plus a 1 T hard drive.

All known to us USB compatibility issues are listed at the bottom of http://wiki.ipisoft.com/USB_controllers#Known_compatibility_issues.
As I see from the specs of your mainboard (ASUS PT6 Deluxe), it has only two Intel USB 2.0 controllers integrated in chipset. So, to work with 6 PS Eye cams you need 1 additional USB controller.
The last 2 ones from your links look like based on NEC USB3 chipset (from the photo, there is no chipset details in text description) which works smootly with PS Eye cameras. So I can recommend one of these cards.

thanks i'll look at these in the shop and give one a go.

It is hard as a new IT guy to work out the best one because almost everywhere in the UK, (online) the usb cards do not list the controllers in the description.

You can try to find out the used chipset on the manufacturer's website looking by controller's part number. For example, StarTech controllers are offered by many UK online stores (including Amazon.co.uk), and they have chipset info for each controller.

Unfortunatly not all web sites are very forward giving the usb controller information.

We have set it up for a small test today and it works.

You have to download drivers from site, i used the sata power connector
and install these drivers
