About 3 minutes into this video - https://vimeo.com/82895521 - Brent George shows how he is able to see both the tracked data as well as the video capture from the cameras. I'm not sure if this is an iPi capture or not, but it could be. Is it possible to import the cameras and their image planes into Motion Builder? This would be invaluable as I've found myself going back to the video to see exactly how the head, hand or feet were positioned in certain areas. Having it directly in mobu would save me time and possibly help others who have to clean up data but dont have the recorder installed. Thanks! |

Hi You can export video from an individual camera as a regular AVI file. Look under CONVERTER tab in iPi Recorder. Also, you can find camera positions in the scene file that was produced by the calibration. It's a human-readable XML file. If you have changed the coordinate system, e.g. pressed the "Recenter Coordinate System On Character" button, then you should save the scene file again to get an updated camera positions. Unfortunately, I don't know exactly how to get all this data into Motion Builder. Hope you can figure it out or some users will share their experience. We plan to add export of cameras to FBX somewhat later, in V3. |

Thanks. I'll give that a try. Exporting the cameras will be much easier, but I'll see if I can get it to work manually. |
