When i use motion capture using 1,2 or three kinects i get allot of jitter in the feet and legs when the actor is still. Is this normal ? or is this my environment ? is this jitter effect when still less when using ps eye cameras ? Thanks |

Jitter is a normal effect for any optical-based motion capture. You should apply Jitter Removal filter before exporting an animation. |

Also, when the actor is standing still, you may want to apply more jitter removal to the legs than normal. Be aware that applying too much may remove subtle natural movements so you may want to experiment different settings. Additional notes: - Jitter Removal is applied non-destructively above the original motion, so you can change the settings and reapply Jitter Removal as often as you like until you get the desired result. - Different Jitter Removal settings can be applied to different frame ranges, so you can have one setting for standing still and another for walking. - If you're mixing different Jitter Removal settings within a single motion, bump the Trajectory Filter to 0 and then back to the desired setting. This will smooth the transition between different Jitter Removal settings. Hope this helps. G. |
