We no longer have the necessity to rely only on kinect, sonce a lot of new products may offer better quality for an affordable price.

So, my main question is: Is ipi dmc going to update to keep up with these upgrades?

Yes, all recent projects of inexpensive sensor suits look very promising. We keep our eyes on them.
If they don't make our product completely irrelevant, we'll integrate the support for such suits in our software.
