I mean a Kinect v2 on each side I get a 360 angle point cloud. This is really neat so I wish I could take this to the next level and make '3D video' ... That is the ability to export the point cloud and get the color info as well.. If I had this in an animation and could move the virtual camera around it would be really cool.. Anyone else think about this? Or are there programs for this ? Ipisoft is the only program I know that even allows two Kinect v2 to work together to capture data.

For now I can only export a single camera angle AVI video with no color info on the points.

Point cloud export feature is included in Biomech Add-on.
It allows to export point cloud from all or selected sensors, export RGB and include or subtrackt background.
In a few days we'll release the update that will extend the list of available export formats with formats convenient for animators (PLY, Krakatoa PRT, OBJ and others).

"3d video" that you mention can be done automatically using Krakatoa plugin. For other formats you will also be able to export each frame to a separate file, but I suppose you will need some script that will import files to proper frames (3ds Max import feature just imports single file to a current frame).

Has anyone out there done anything intersting with a 360 view point cloud ? If I had the point cloud in color + some sort of interactive viewer the user could move around on it would effectivly be 3D TV right ? Is this speccific case the image in 3D would just be a person moving but that is a start. Or I imagine it could be used real time.

If you export depth with RGB, you will actually get 3d video.
But depth video contains noise, not all points in cloud are mapped to color and we do not know of viewers that could show such video. There are viewers that show single point cloud.

Our solution is not realtime so far.

You already have a viewer in iPi Mocap Studio. If I could set keyframes to the camera then I could make some interesting video. so I could move around the point cloud.

It is not that important. Just a interesting side effect I noticed while using 2 Kinects to capture motion that seems to have potential.
