I've seen posts about this feature from years back, but not much new info. I'm curious, since ipisoft allows us to record audio, how do we extract that audio? Any videos I export are exported without any audio! Am I just missing something? -Brandon |

Audio export is implemented in V3, and only in iPi Recorder. Mocap Studio 3 still lacks audio export. Thanks for reminding, I think we'll add this also in near time :) |

Oh that is excellent. I had missed that in the export functionality. Thank you! |

I'm having problems with this feature because it's limited to .avi export. The audio is always out of sync with the picture in Quicktime. VLC plays it in sync, but I can't figure out how to get a .mov out of it. Any advice on a better app to play/export? Thanks |

Do you have a video editor like Vegas or Premiere? I think you should be able to load it there and export the video as .mov. I do that every now and then using Vegas. If not, there are other programs that can transcode .avi video to other formats and codecs. On Win, I like the free VidCoder, which is a variant of Handbrake with a more streamlined interface. (Actually, I think VidCoder outputs .mp4 and not .mov but it has presets for Apple devices if that's what you're after.) If you're on Mac, I'm not sure what's out there but since the Mac is popular with video and sound engineers, there's probably a lot of options. G. |

Thanks guys. I tried both isky & HandBrake. I didn't like isky. I tried HandBrake on a Mac and it worked okay. I like the idea of trying VidCoder on one of the PC machines we process ipi on, so that looks like the best solution. (I also don't like Vegas or Premiere, I'm an FCP guy.) Great advice from Greenlaw, as usual!! |

... No problem, VidCoder is an updated Handbrake and it is free, but not as versitile. Whatever works for your needs is all you need. ... Good Luck |
