YMMV, but for the EVGI 750ti FTW w ACX, I've been getting 1.6 fps ... the same as the 660ti, in the ipisoft charts. Based on the GPU benchmarks online, I was expecting something closer to 1.2, so ... I was pleasantly surprised, considering the pricepoint compared to the 660ti. Add in the fact that it only uses a single power connector, and sips power compared to my pair of GTX 460's, while beating their combined performance by about 10%, and ... I'm even happier.

Picked up for $110, after rebate, which still seems to be available at Newegg, as of today (1/10/15). From past experience, with EVGA, I actually expect to receive the rebate (can't say the same for all manufacturers).

A pair of them, would theoretically hit about 2.5, certainly impressive for $220. In a lot of cases, the extra speed doesn't really mean much ... an extra couple minutes in the background, but ... thought I'd pass it along.

My rig is a 6*PS Eye setup at 640*480 25fps. I recently went from a 470GTX to a 580GTX that a friend had up for grabs and was expecting quite a jump up in performance.

The 470GTX pushed about 1.0fps normally, and I could perform a stable overclock to get it to just about 1.2fps.

The 580GTX sadly only hits 1.3fps, I was expecting about 1.7 according to the charts I've seen :( And it would barely overclock, I saw about a 0.03fps improvement at best and it got really unstable really fast. Disappointing. Am I doing something wrong? It's a big old 3-slot-high card and everything.

Video cards based on the same GPU usually have a variety of specific parameters like GPU clock frequency, amount of memory and its speed. Of course, these parameters affect the overall performance of a video card. Thus, the speed of a specific GPU in Mocap Studio may vary in a certain range depending on a specific video card.
Also, you should understand that our chart is essentially an estimation. We've only got several GPU models for testing our software. For other models, we estimate the performance based on comparative GPU benchmarks found on the web.

My factory settings for the 580GTX are:
Graphics clock 782MHz
Memory clock 2004MHz
Processor clock 1564MHz

The GTX470 I used to overclock to about 750MHz I think on the Graphics clock and get the 1.2fps, so I'm guessing that there isn't that much of an architectural improvement between the 400 series and the 500 series, hence only 1.3fps. It's mainly down to a higher clock speed that gives the improved performance.

It's no big deal as I process my mocap on my home machine remotely while I'm at work :D I just wondered if I was doing something obviously wrong.
