What I would consider is setting up on an overcast (non rain expected) day, or perform under some sort of canopy, as calibration would probably not work well in bright light.

Depending on the camera config. you were using, with 3 cams I would suggest semi-circle and have a solid color backdrop to limit surrounding color from intrusion in tracking and using a light color drop cloth under feet with darker colored clothing, but if you are doing it to record in a very large area, depending on surroundings, you may get issues.

Adjustments to gain and exposure set lower on cameras.

Other than that, the cameras will record outdoors, it's the tracking process off the recorded video where the problems would occur.

A quick tracking test should let you know how your set up was calibrated and track though.

Good Luck!

I've never recorded it PS3 Eye cameras outdoors myself but as Snapz noted, you'll want to record on an overcast day or very early in the morning before the sun comes out. Apart from overexposure, direct sunlight is an issue because of hard cast shadows on the body--this make it difficult for the tracker to accurately separate the arms and legs from the torso. For the same reason, you'll want to use soft ambient lighting when recording indoors too.
