IPi recorder runs fine.

When I load iPi Studio it loads for a second that stops.. Is there a log trace I can send you or anyone have any idea?

Thanks for your report. However, we cannot guarantee that our software works on preview release of OS.
We will examine compatibility closer to the final release of Windows 10.

I know .. but I can't help myself and run the latest everything.

I'll try it again sometime in the future.

I was able to get it working by deleting all the files, then running the repair. But it runs very slow.

I avoid using new OS's, especially if they're still in beta. Even after an official release, it will probably take a year or longer for drivers and software programs to be updated for it--I can't afford all that downtime and the frequent interruptions. In fact, all the computers in our home studio and at the various movie/TV studios I've worked at in the past two years are still running on Windows 7.

This is just my opinion but unless you have a lot of free time, and troubleshooting is your hobby, I would avoid switching completely over to a new OS to do actual work.

(That said, I have to confess I use beta releases of graphics and animation software in my work all the time. I guess you take the risks you're comfortable with.) :p

I had the exact same issue, the problem seems to be Microsoft.NET 4.6.
There is a very simple way to fix this. First, go into the ipi folder and
delete all the files, the run the ipi setup and click repair. Now start up
ipi. It should work but might be very laggy to the point where it is
unusable. To fix that lag, you must first close ipi, then go into your
control panel and click on programs. Now click Turn Windows features on or
off, then unchecked .NET 4.6 and click ok. Then restart your PC and open ipi.
It should now be fixed.
