I think I'd really like to buy this software if I can just get it working -- on the little I *can* get working it looks great, but I am having a huge issue.

With the Kinect V2 Single Sensor positioned at about 28 inches high (sorry don't know what the metric equivilent but it's within the range of .5 to 1.1 for sure) I first remove the background and then record video that *looks* just fine, starting off with a T Pose. When I bring this into Studio, it positions the floor WAY too high, with no way to correct it (you can move the floor only slightly with the scene floor controls).

What am I doing wrong? Trying to fit the character results in him being squashed way down (obviously he's trying to fit to the floor). I DO want it to track to the floor properly, and my Kinect does so in other motion capture software, just not in Studio.

TIA for any help.

The floor is detected automatically from the depth data. For that, it should be well visible to a sensor, and should occupy at least 1/6 area of the image.

Right, it was a user error (the floor was actually placed properly, I just didn't understand how to correctly position the model).
