... Thanks for fixing the default export skeletons ground position after refit when using the PS Eyes in the Studio, I am not sure if it was an issue with the Kinects, I can't remember now. This was needed to keep the hip translations accurate in other 3D programs. I Appreciate you correcting it. ... |

... With the recent update on, (11/19), it seems for me the timer window and speeds are more stable now, fluctuations are minimized and speeds register much better, also the initial speed start up is much closer to the stable running speed, it doesn't have to climb as much to stabilize. There is really no need for the stop/start tracking trick now to help speed climb, (unless it still may help slower tracking machines), each re-start on the tracking is more consistent, peaking for my config. at just under 2.30 f/s @ .40 s/f with fluctuation swings down to 2.20 s/f @ .47 s/f then up again, average at 2.25 s/f @ .44 s/f, which is common depending on the motion being tracked at the time and very reasonable. Good job iPi Team, the update is working well. Thanks! ... |

Having performed several updates on 11/19, the Win 10 major update, Nvidia driver update and the iPisoft update all on the same day, and I don't see anything in the release notes signifying iPisoft has made any fixes for tracking processing stability, so I don't know if all updates worked in unison to achieve better results or one did more than the other, I just know the program is working better and more stable in respect. Without knowing specifics on what the iPisoft update actually contained to address any Studio PS Eye processing issues, I can only assume there was things done to help the speed start closer to a stable target speed in the results window and to help increase these speeds by just a bit, while I haven't adjusted anything other than updates to my machine. In any regard, I am glad to see and welcoming the recent improvements. ... |
