Is it any option available in using virtual machines for iPi Recorder?
According to this article https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj663795.aspx i have little chance with Kinect SDK 1.8 and hyper-v, but nothing about 2.0

I thought I read that you can with Kinect 2.0 but keep in mind that v2 requires a lot more resources and bandwidth than v1 did. It's my guess that if you manage to get Kinect 2.0 to work with a virtual machine, the frame rate might not be suitable for accurate motion capture.

Using Kinect 2.0 at full speed seems very hardware dependent. For example, my Wacom Companion 2, a fairly new i7 Windows tablet has no trouble at all capturing depth with v2 with audio and RGB enabled, but my windows-based HP workstation, which is an older i7 quad core, just manages 30fps with v2 and only when the RGB and audio streams are disabled. My daughter's new HP tablet convertible is an i5 that can manage 30fps with RGB disabled but just barely. My feeling is that, if it's tough to get Kinect 2.0 to run optimally with a real windows pc, it's probably not going to run very well on a virtual machine.

But I haven't actually done this so hopefully someone who has will chime in soon.
