Hi To be accurate, iPi Recorder is free to use except its editing features :) Please clarify your issue. Do you have a problem with the latest release of iPi Recorder? PS Move does not connect to your BT adapter using MiJ drivers anymore? PS Move connects to BT adapter using MiJ but iPi Recorder does not display it? Have you tried pairing procedure for PS Move in the latest release of iPi Recorder with standard BT drivers? |

Forget MIJ, it's no longer needed for iPi Recorder. Remove MIJ, install the latest Recorder, and then re-pair the PS Move controllers if necessary. On my main workstation, the controllers somehow remained paired to it (ASUS BT-211 adapter) after removing MIJ and switching to the new Recorder. The other day, I moved all three Move controllers to connect with the built-in bluetooth (Intel) in my Windows tablet, which never had MIJ installed. After going through the pairing process, the controllers worked perfectly there. There's more info in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=9635 Most of the relevant info is near the end of the thread. Hope this helps. |

MIJ is still needed if you gonna to use multiple BT adapters on the same PC, as Windows supports only one. Multiple BT adapters may be required for multi-person capture given each actor wears 3 PS Moves. Usually, single BT adapter can handle only 4 PS Moves. |

Thanks for the clarification. I didn't think about that. I have another question about this: Since multiple computers can be used for multi-actor capture, couldn't you then use separate BT adapters for each additional computer without using MIJ? I know this isn't useful if the user only has one computer but many people have two computers, and of course it's a requirement if you use Kinect One. Oh, just thought of another question: Currently, it appears you cannot setup up a computer to record ONLY PS Move/Wii Motion data...a camera/sensor also needs to be active on that computer. Can future version of Recorder be updated to allow controller-only recording? This isn't something I really need at the moment but when I was trying to optimize my setup, I thought this option might be useful for offloading controller recording for computers that may be struggling with Kinect One. Maybe other users will think this is useful? I'm sure other features you have planned have greater priority but just putting it out there. Thanks again for any answer. |

Yes, sure. Recording multiple actors is easier with multiple PCs, and you can distribute controllers between them. But if plan to use only one PC (capable of handling 8-10 PS Eyes), then MIJ is an option for 6 PS Moves. |
