Post subject:  How to get the body height by the Y value of head?

Dear experts,

Using iPi Biomech Add-on to export data, I found that the Y value of head is about 15cm lower than than actor body height. Even if I use the example video from iPi website (actor: 199cm), the Y value of actor head is about 184cm. So I got two questions:
1. what's definition of the Y value of head in the exported data? It is like the value from ground to the mass center of the head. Is this similar for other bones? such as thighbone.
2. how to get the body height value by the exported data?

Thank you so much.
Shawn

Most "bones" listed in Biomech add-on correspond to actual bones of tracking skeleton in Mocap Studio. You can examine the skeleton structure in the viewport.
Coordinates of a bone are defined as coordinates of a joint connecting the bone to its parent bone. So, Head coordinates correspond to a joint connecting model's head and neck. If you're looking for top of the head, this is EffectorHead. The same goes for toes and fingers - they end with EffectorXXX joints.
You can find the most detailed description of Biomech features in our docs
