I want use the output pointcloud ，I know it can export pcd file per frame per point data store，but it can not import into maya file，so we try obj file instead of pcd file ，but when export select frames to export ，all the frame in one obj file，not per frame per file ，so，ask for help from ipi studio development ，and there is a point cloud plugin for maya ，it can turn the pointcloud data to files，that maya can indicate it ，so ，need ，export obj files，per frame per file ，named by frame |

Hello, there is no standard format for point clouds, unfortunately. So pipelines for loading point clouds to various packages are numerous, and it's difficult to support all of them. OBJ file with multiple frames in single file is understood by 3ds Max. That's very unfortunate that it is not understood by Maya. You can check this recommendation: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/maya-forum/point-cloud/td-p/6663116 They mention .xyz format, that is supported by iPi Mocap Studio as well. It exports each frame to a single .xyz file. |
