I think it would help immensely if the videos contained an audio track as well.

We'll be working on that but it will take some time. We do not have native English speakers in our team so we will probably have to hire someone from outside to do the voice over.

I find it very annoying that I have to go to a u-tube video every time I want to review the process. Can't you simply make the videos available for download so I can save them to my hard drive. My flash movie capture software doersn't always work.

The tutorials are good but since your English is good in writing why not sub-title the video. It would help a lot.

Frankly, I like your tutorial the way it is, here's why:

1. The text instructions are idea for Deaf customers because if they weren't there, we'd not understand a thing about the tutorials.
2. The pacing of the mouse use and functions/selections employed is ideal Far too often I see so-called tutorials by "tutors" here in the USA that fly from selection to selection so darn fast there is no point in trying to follow what they are doing.
Despite accessibility laws in America, many businesses summarily ignore them in cases like tutorials. So it's amazing to me that do what should be done here and probably don't even know about our accessibility laws. Too many have no sense of the viewer's (especially beginners) need for time to process let alone even see the actions employed. So I consider your video tutorial very viewer friendly.
3. The beauty of your text instructions is you keep them simple as opposed to so many long winded comments on the few text instructions I do see. AND the time between your text and actions that demonstrate gives enough time to read it then look up and see you making the selection mentioned. In other words, easy to follow. Please don't lose your customer sensitivity.

As you know, I'm considering buying iPi despite the fact that it isn't ready for features I need to use it as a means for producing sign language instruction media.
I have many pre-sales questions. A number have been graciously answered via regular email. That alone tells me your company has a customer friendly attitude which is BIG factor and draw for me. OK, what I'd like to see in the way of a tutorial is a step by step guide in transporting iPi motions into iClone (BVH), specifically iClone. Other sources have suggested that this isn't exactly a smooth or easy process but I'd rather check with iPi than just assume a third hand source is correct. Important too is to SEE the process in action so I can be sure I'm getting what I think I'm getting.

Better yet, why not use text-to-speech? I have a few tutorials from a Canadian guy who does Anime Studio tutorials in English and he uses the text-to-speech because he only speaks French. If he didn't tell me that, I wouldn't of known that it wasn't an actual woman speaking. Dang, has text-to-speech come a long ways! It used to sound so mechanical and now its almost unnoticeable.
