I would love to be able to use my kinect 2.0, my azure kinect, and the bunch of kinect 1.0 that i have around all at once. Currently you can only use multiple of the same depth sensor but i would like to be able to use all of the ones i have. thank you.

I agree it would be nice (I own a bunch of different sensors too) but I don't think that's possible. The format and quality of the captured data is way too different between each of these sensor models and cannot be merged together for accurate 3D tracking.

I am excited that iPi Mocap Studio is now supporting Azure Kinect though. I don't own this sensor model yet but the specs are impressive, and the devs seem enthusiastic about it too. I'll think about upgrading once I start seeing promising results/comparisons.

yeah i bought the azure and im nervous that it probably wasnt worth it since i think multiple kinect 1.0 is better than a single azure. hoping theres still some use i can get out of this tho

I imagine just two Azure Kinects will probably beat the pants off of multiple sensors of the other types. Will wait and see though. :)

noway ,we dont need this option support, because we have four azure Kinect ,and the compute speed is very high and the set up is very easy。and most important is we dont need so much big space to capture motion data ,so very awesome 、cheers ,ipisoft.com,and the most most important things is the data result is very very good .SEE YOU IPI MOCAP STUDIO

yeah but not everybody has four azure kinects. those things are very expensive at about 400 dollars each. it would help out the smaller creators who can only really afford one.
