I'd like to make a feature request: it would be very helpful if I could drop markers on the timeline with short annotation. In Sony Vegas, for example, pressing the 'm' key places a small 'flag' above the current frame on the timeline, with a marker number. If you click on this flag, you can add a short note for that frame.
There are many ways to use this feature. For example, I may want to use this to mark points where I wish to use different Jitter Removal settings, or to write brief editorial notes like 'start music' or 'head turns to right'.
