I would like to get the coordinates of all points of the biped in realtime. So capturing the person in realtime and getting the coordinates in realtime.

One addition to clarify:

Capture has to be realtime, so as soon as the movement is being done, the camcorder's image is processed and converted into coordinates.

Order:
1. Place yourself in starting position
2. Wait for an acustical sign to be notified that your position has been acquired.
3. Receive the data in real-time, while having the choice to deselect special points of the biped to take the pressure off the cpu.

Data could be recieved in a windows window which can be read by other applications.

How long would something like this take you guys?

Modern personal computers are not fast enough for real-time markerless motion capture. If you need a real-time solution, consider using traditional marker-based system.

Maybe that is not necessary.

I am thinking of a "project natal" alternative, so movements just have to be translated into "forward", "backward", "fight"...

No precision necessary at all.

What do you think now?
