Hello, in my tests several times I have set up the T-Pose. Because it's nearly the same, is it possible to save the position, so I can reload this each time? Best regards Stephan |

I can't use iPi DMC at the moment to check this, but I think you can do the following: after posing your actor, go to the Scene panel and save the scene. Understand that this is quite different from saving the project in the File menu, which saves the . The Scene file includes calibration but it also include the T-Pose. When you load the Scene file, the actor will be posed in the same T-Pose, but you may still need to move the root and rotate it a little to match the pose in the video exactly. Just to be sure, you should use Refit Pose after repositioning before clicking the Track button of course. G. |

Hello Greenlaw, good idea, but these are the problems: 1. The actor is not in the correct position. 2. I don't why, but if I load the avi-File, and in a second test I load the mocap-File, the views are different with regard to the viewing angle. So the T-Pose is to high, or at the wrong position. Another small problems 3. Save Scene saves no Actor, so you have reload the actor,too. --> that's not the problem 4. If you reload the Scene, the property "Long sleeve shirt" of the actor becomes activ. Stephan |

That sounds very strange. Normally, when the videos are from the same session and the cameras have not be moved between the videos, the calibration should be the same and the views should line up when you load the Scene file. The T-Pose should also be reuseable; the actor may be in a different position because the performer may not be standing in the exact same spot when assuming the T-Pose, but this should be a relatively minor adjustment. I would go back to the original iPi file and make sure the Scene data was saved with the proper calibration and actor position. If not, you may need to go through the calibration and posing steps again and make sure you save the data. (I've forgotten to do this myself a few times.) If that's not the case, then you may want to double check that the cameras weren't moved. If that's what happened then you'll need to recalibrate for the changed camera position (even if the change is very slight. If you haven't at the very least taped them down, it's very easy to move them. I modified mine so I can mount them to c-stands or to custom brackets I made and put on my walls) I'm really just guessing now, but I hope it helps. G. |

Hello Greenlaw, I'm done with my second experiment. The saving of the T-pose with "Save Scene" seems to be a good way. But I don't understand, why I have to rotate the actor vertically. I understand that I need to move the actor. In my scenario I have to rotate the actor vertically. Should not he be vertical?
