Currently my recording location does not have an internet connection. I would like to get an email reminding me of any updates. So far the software has automatically updated itself once so far. That will not happen any more because I will be leaving a computer at the recording location with out any internet.

I'm a registered user of iPi pro.

You can download the latest iPi DMC and iPi Recorder installers from the main website as they become available. Just copy the files to a USB stick from a computer that does have internet connection, and move them to the machine that does not. When you run the installers, they will update your installed software. The installers should respect your original iPi DMC license so you won't have to re-license it.

I don't have internet connection at my location either, and I had to do this once when an update became available during a shoot.

As for email notifications, I think they've done this before (but not always). They also make new release announcements here in this forum. (This they always do.)
