Can you add the ability to modify the limits for each joint? when i rotate and walk around the feet can end up with a 60~80 angle as the thigh twists and so the feet dislocate from the actor.

From what i saw from the rig, both the feet and calf are the ones with the twisting limits, i just want to change that so the thigh twists to 60~80 and the calf/feet don't. This (i think) should keep the feet synced with the actor, thanks.

Michael or Andrew said this is a known limitation of the current software. If you look at my test video you can see the twist problem when the performer, well, twists. I'm correcting this sort of thing in my 3D app on a case by case basis. In this case, I can fix this problem by splitting the thigh bone and counter-twisting it during the 'trouble' frames.

Hope this helps.

Heck just add a checkbox for "I am not a contortionist and I am not going to do summersaults". Then I wouldn't walk around with my legs crossed and my feet on the wrong feet... Lots of manual hacking required. Your software is sooooo close to awesome. Just make it always favor normal body positioning, unless we say.

Really the issue is the shoulders and the thighs. If I could lock their rotation down it would be sweet! Just tell me the conf file to modify...

Here is an example pic of the problem. Pretty sure no one can actually do this. Just make your software keep it simple! Image Sorry for the crappy video grab of my screen.

Ive had this happen too.

I just used the IK tool to put the legs back and tracked the mistake backwards.

Problem was fixed in a jiffy.

Cheers
