Hi.

So having been doing some begining work with a 6 cam setup, and getting great results, Ive spotted a couple things that I think would improve results even more, and make for a slightly easier workflow.

Actor Fine Tuning...

We have ofc the morf controls to trim how fat/thin our actor is, which is great... but ofc not all people have the same skeletal proportions. Im finding that when scaling the character up to fit my height, the hip to ankle is OK, the torso is pretty good, but the character arms are a good hands length longer than my own arms... this is causing a lil twitchyness in the arms, and the tracker is almost never letting the arms go full straight (cos ofc if my hands are like "ik goals" then they're never getting pulled full out).

So what would be great would be the ability to lengthen and shorten the arms, legs, and torso separately from one another to get the most accurate match possible to a given performer.

Also, when scaling the actor up, they scale from the middle, pushing the feet below the ground plane. This means that getting correct height is a process of going back and forth between the scale slider, and the move manipulator... trying to keep a careful eye so as the soles of the feet sit on the ground correctly.

It would be better if, when scaling, the character remained planted to the floor and scaled up from there.

Viewports.

I describe above nudging the actor to stand properly on the floor, but there are sometimes other occasions, when taking manual control of a pose where you want to place a hand or a foot at the right level on the ground plane... orbiting around the view to try and get yourself side on and perform the manipulation is a bit of a pin, at least in so much as it requires a careful lil bit of mousework, etc.

It would be great if we could switch to preset orthographic views of the scene space 9with ofc a line to represent the ground plane)... this would improve those lil tweaks of ground contact workflow a bit I think... or infact any manipulations where you want to move something on a given plane... you could even have ortho views projected down the various camera point axis... allowing you to quikly manipulate in a given video plane.

Ok, those are my wishes and ideas.

Add to this also, the ability to alter how broad/narrow the spacings between the hip and shoulder joints are.

Cheers.
