Hi, Since most of us here seem to be using Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 cameras, could the FOV setting in iPi Studio be preset to 75 by default? It would save a little bit of set up time, especially when using multiple cameras. In a later update, it would be nice to see presets for a variety of other cameras. (But for now, I'm biased to have the Logitech camera in first, of course.) :) I'd also like to see a status window, maybe at the bottom of the main window, that briefly explains features and reports exactly what iPi is doing at any given stage (such as what stage it's in when calibrating cameras.) A small bug, which you probably already know about: when saving out animation files, I noticed that all formats save out with the .bvh extension, regardless of the actual format. Not a big deal, but I just wanted to point it out. A question about the beta: is the trial downloaded from the website the latest beta version, or is there a more recent version available to paying customers? Thanks in advance for any response. Thanks, good idea about making 75 degrees FOV the default. Will be included in next update. Status reporting will be improved in future versions. This is not easy to change because of the way it was coded. By the way, we plan more GPU acceleration for calibration process (currently, some calibration steps are implemented using CPU). Complete GPU accelerated calibration should be much faster, probably fast enough to make detailed status reporting irrelevant. Latest version is always available to you via autoupdate. Trial version is always based on the same code as full version. So you already have latest version. If you are using Microsoft's automatic updates, you should receive a relevant update in one of latest Microsoft's updates, at least on Vista 64 bit. I hope Microsoft will soon fix this problem on other platforms, too, is they did not already fix it. |

When you are connected to internet, on every start of iPi Studio or iPi Recorder you will be offered to download new version if there is one. |
