I am wondering if more controls on the rig would be practical and useful? Sometimes I find it a little difficult to manually pose and refit the iPi actor rig when a track drifts off. Just a thought. Greenlaw |

Yes, I agree with you, and this is actually planned. It will be added in one of upcoming versions. Currently, we concentrate on some important internal changes that should improve speed on fast video cards (like GeForce 285 and the upcoming Radeon 5870). After that, we will work on all kinds of usability issues, including better controls, "user constrains" (a manual cleanup technique specific to markerless mocap systems), better UI etc. |

the radeon 5870 doesnt support shader model 4.0 which I think means it doesnt perform with ipi recorder. |

Radeon 5870 supports DirectX 11 and Shader Model 5.0, which implies support for all previous versions including required SM 4.0. Look at the specs page on AMD website. Also note that grahics card performance is essential for iPi Mocap Studio, not iPi Recorder. Are you experiencing some performance issues with iPi Recorder? |
