I was just watching the video of the new MicroSoft Kinect 1.5 SDK features and would like to inquire if facial tracking is going to be implemented in the coming 2.0 release? |

Hi We're planning to conduct a research in this direction later this year. However, facial tracking in Kinect SDK is intended mostly for near mode, when person is sitting before his computer. The resolution of the Kinect sensor is not sufficient to provide good facial tracking when making full body capture. |

I know one of the improvements/features present in the 1.5 SDK is near mode and half body tracking, like someone sitting in a chair. Does iPi Soft plan on utilizing these features in the 2.0 release. It would be nice to have the option of using these features since they do not require new sensors or a new runtime module. |

Currently we have plans for research only. We'll make a decision whether to implement this feature after we finish a research. |
