I had this crazy idea this morning, and it might be useful:
The amount of data that a simple 1 minute video of 2 kinects capture is huge, specially because we have a lot of data of the background of the scene.

What if we could save the iPiStudio project without the background? only with actor animated point cloud? This way, files would possibly be 80% smaller, and still have the same information that is importante for the mocap.

this way, it's easier to send the data for some studio that could be paid to do the processing step.

Currently we don't have plans to provide such service. Yet, if we make this decision in future, surely we'll have no problems about getting a consent from ourselves :)
