Hi,

I haven't bought the software yet, but I'm planning to. Would you consider implementing the following things?

1) Animation ghosting or onionskinning of the bones
2) Ragdoll physics like in Naturalmotion Endorphin and a slider to switch between the physics and another mocap clip.
3) It would be cool if you could do some kind of previsualisation in Ipisoft. So, After you generated the mocap it would be cool to do some camera moves and import camera motions in fbx from matchmoving software and generate a small video file or image sequence from the not skinned character. I hope it would replace previs software.
4) The ability to import obj object that act as obstacles. For instance have a wall or a building imported from a syntheyes or pftracked scene with an fbx camera motion on it.
5) Retiming of animation tools -> stretching, looping and shrinking animation.

Could you explain to me what you mean with ipisoft will have the ability to do multiple persons tracking? I'm curious about that.

I'm planning to use it with Softimage.

Hi
Our software currently focuses solely on capturing the motion, so we do not plan to implement advanced animation editing features. You can do this after exporting animation to an animation editor of your choice.

Studio already has this function (see attached image). This works both for skin and bones.
  1. Set "ghost" frames interval interval (which one frame to display as "ghost")
  2. Set onion skinning duration
  3. Enable onion skinning by checking the View > Skeleton Strobe (Onion Skinning) menu item.

That is, it will track multiple actors moving in the same video clip. At least for the beginning, this feature will be limited to 2 actors.
