I have an own rotation-capture device, Arduino Nano V3.0 + GY-85. Is there a way to make it work with ipi DMC?

That's nice!

We can add to iPi Recorder the capability to load 3d party device implementation from a .NET assembly. In that assembly, you should provide implementations of necessary interfaces working with your device. If you are interested in this solution, I could give you more details.

Also, we are interested to get more info on your device, like:
  • it's dimensions and weight
  • the way of communicating with a PC
  • if it uses a battery, and how long is the battery life
  • total cost of components
  • anything else you would like to share

Thanks for the info.
So, are you interested in details of implementing the device support in .NET assembly, or this is not suitable for you?

This is your task as it is your commercial product.

I thought you were interested in getting support for your customized device in our software.
Your are right that our product is commercial. Thus it makes sense for us to develop only those features which (eventually) get us some money. Currently, I do not see a bunch of guys with compatible Arduino rotation-capture devices who are eager to purchase our product once their devices are supported.
