I noticed a similar issue today also related to the sync port. I am using 4 Kinect devices and have them synced in daisy chain:


This unfortunately did not work and I just had black images. I ended up just taking out the sync but would love for it to work.
* Is there anywhere to see in iPi Recorder which Kinect is the master and which are the subordinates?
* Is there another way I should be plugging them in?

Have you tried with less number of synced cameras - 2 or 3? Does it work?
Other order of daisy chaining? Probably, matching the same (or the opposite) order as you see them in iPi Recorder will help.
