I registered with the username WAZMACK to use ipi recorder for facial mocap, i did this 6 weeks ago, i finally got round to trying the mocap studio for full body today, but because i registered over 30 days ago the key wont work. even though its never been used until an hour ago.

I tried uninstalling it and re registering with username WAZMACK2, as oppose to WAZMACK. I thought this would generate a new code for me to use, but it seems the damage is done.

I only have 1 machine that i can do this on otherwise id be on it like a shot, please can someone check to see that i have not yet begun the trial and issue me a code that works.

We are working to fix this problem. We will send a solution or a workaround for you as soon as we resolve this problem.

Please note that this problem is unrelated to your forum account and the Product Trial Key that you get at forum. This looks like a bug of the license management code in our software. Everything should have worked with your first account, and trial should only be started as soon as you started the iPi Studio for the first time.

do you have any idea when this will be resolved? a day, a week, a month?

i really want to get testing this out, its quite urgent.

are thhere any workarounds you know of?

We don't have a workaround yet.

We'll do our best to resolve this issue within 24 hours. Right now we are working on it.

We published new version, please let me know if it fixes the problem with evaluation period.

If it does not, we will continue searching for solution.

same thing, i did the auto update, copied the code from the control panel of this account into the box, and it says its expired and i cant export.
i really need this sorting. i have the use of a studio on saturday to test this stuff out. if i cant get it working ill have to use something else.

Do i need to clear something out of my registry and reinstall it with a new account? There must be a workaround.

We published another hotfix that should fix the problem.

Please let me know if it works. If it does not, we'll probably reset trial period globally for all users, since many people are asking for extension licenses anyway.

Sorry for this problem, this is a bug of third-party DRM solution we are using.

And yes, a possible workaround is to install on a clean machine. Unfortunately, I don't know how to clear broken license from the computer, as it is not stored in registry but in Microsoft's "protected storage" (designed by Microsoft specifically to be difficult to clear). The simplest workaround is just to reinstall Windows, but I understand that may be too much trouble. That's why we are working on alternative solution.

just updated and tried it again, still saying its outdated. Really wanted this to be working for saturday....
Cant afford to reinstall, would take too long to get things together in time.

Let me know if you get another patch or do the global reset, i suggest changing the third party company you use to distribute licences. It simply doesnt work and is putting people off using your stuff which i hear is very good.

Ok I see. We'll probably be resetting evaluation time for all users, but this means replacing existing licenses and keys and we need to notify our existing customers first. This may take a couple of days.
