When i open the video in g-spot it says "no codec required"

also that the codec is RGB, named BI_RGB Raw Bitmap..

gspot can open it but not render it giving an unknown error..

when scanning my system for codecs in gspot there is nothing shown as a problem..

What should I do?? please help..
