iPi Studio supports only SM4.0 Cards

Unfortunately no. The GT6800 is Shader Model 3.0 while you need 4.0.

Shader Model 3.0 = DirectX 9 cards
Shader Model 4.0 = DirectX 10 cards (unified shaders, CUDA, etc.)

Ah, my bad on not seeing the system requirements on the product page. I guess I was too excited about the product to notice. :o) Still too bad I won't be able to use it.

Dave, the video card I have (Geforce 8600 GT) is a little over $100. You're going to end up spending that much on a qualify camera anyway...

I got the dreaded sm4 error screen, my card is an 6800 GT is it possible this is just a driver issue caused by windows automatic updates?

The NVIDIA 6800 GT is SM 3.0 generation. You need a newer card to run this software.
