So I've got 2 kinect V1 plugged in got SDK 1.8 installed ipi recorder 4 says both kinects are ready I have them both plugged into a 3.0 and a 3.1 so there are definitely 2 controllers but when I hit record video I get the insufficient bandwidth message, then initializing then just a black screen on the 2nd camera. I unplugged one of the cameras and just tried the one by itself and I'm still getting these errors but that camera worked fine initially. |

Hi There may compatibility issues between Kinect and USB controller(s). Do you use desktop or laptop? Did you try all available USB ports for connecting? |

I figured it out it's because Kinect v1 apparently doesn't like USB 3.0 I had a 2.0 slot at the front of my PC so that's working. |

The original Kinect should work with USB 3...I used that configuration for cgi short film projects and vfx for a couple of feature films. But as mentioned above, your specific USB 3 controller chipset might not be compatible. |
