Hello! I'm trying to get multiple Kinect 2 sensors working. I've followed documentation, but I think I'm hitting a slightly more fundamental problem than those documented.

When I try to enable libfreenect2, I get the error shown below:

If I toggle it off/on, it slightly changes.

I have tried both USBDK and libUSBk and there doesn't seem to be much difference. If I disable libfreenect2, restart the program, enable verbose logging, I'm able to capture this.

I could definitely use some better errors for trying to diagnose this. ;)

For reference, yes I was able to get good quality capture on a single sensor.

* 2 additional USB 3.0 controller cards
* NVidia 1060 GPU
* AMD FX 8350 eight core CPU
* 2x Kinect for Xbox One sensors

Do you have all that files in iPi Recorder installation? (see attachment)
If not, try reinstalling iPi Recorder.
If yes, download Dependency Walker utility (64-bit version) and open libfreenect2.Net.dll in it. Check which dependencies are not found (have "question" icon). Ignore those starting from "API-MS" and "EXT-MS".

Will do! I'm pretty sure I had all the DLL's, but I'll double check and reference dependency walker tonight.

Many thanks. :)

Found it! The missing `.dll` was `opencl.dll`. According to people on the internet, Windows 10 updates will sometimes delete the opencl installation. Thanks Microsoft! The recommended fix is to just reinstall or install the latest NVidia drivers.

For anyone else trying to diagnose issues like this, some Google searches lead me to this alternative to dependency walker software that doesn't have the same false positives issue (i.e. dozens of references like EXT-MS-WIN-KERNEL32-DATTIME-L1-1-0.DLL): https://github.com/lucasg/Dependencies
