Hello. I have tried free software version with 2 azure kinects. Unfortunatelly non of them can record any pictures. (images are black, no point clouds or color images can be recorded). Do you have any ideas why can it happen? It works if I use standart Azure Kinect recorder-viewer. |

Have you tried to record with a single Azure Kinect connected? Does it work? |

Hello. I tried to record with standart Azure software and it works. Unfortunatelly, it doesn't work if I use IPiSoftware. I tried one or 2 devices. The picture is just black |

What is the version of iPi Recorder? Provide some screenshots of the problem - what do you see on the home screen, in "camera types" panel, on "Setup" screen after you select Azure Kinect and press "Record Video" button on the home screen. Also please provide the log file. After opening the recorder, open the Trace window by pressing a small button in the top right corner (near window close button). Set log level to "Verbose". You may close or minimize the Trace window. Select Azure Kinect and press "Record Video" button. Then open the Trace window again and save the log to a file. |

Please also provide log from iPi Recorder as I described in my previous comment. What is your PC configuration? Did you try depth-only modes in iPi Recorder? |

As you can see, I tried many different configurations, but I get only black images. Shall I be able to see some depth / RGB data? Thanks for the info Please let me know your hardware config (CPU, GPU, RAM). Do you have a cable connected to the sync port on Kinect camera? If yes, try without it. |

Quote: Do you have a cable connected to the sync port on Kinect camera? If yes, try without it. I've just checked your screenshot from Azure Kinect Viewer and noticed that it indicates both In and Out sync connectors are in use. So that is the most likely cause of the issue. iPi Recorder automatically puts a camera in Master or Slave mode if it detects sync connection. To use synchronization correctly, plug a sync cable to OUT of one camera (which becomes a master) and IN of another (which becomes a slave). Then both cameras will produce synchronized pictures as expected. When shooting with a single camera, don't plug a sync cable to it, at least not in the IN port. |
