Hi,

I recorded several videos in one session, including board calibration videos and action videos. But I realise after the recording session that I need to evaluate the background every time I moved the camera. The cameras were moved when I record different clips, but I only did the evaluation at the very beginning. The current recordings have empty scenes that can be used for evaluation. I wonder if it is possible for me to re-evaluate the background of those recorded videos.

Because the actors in the recordings are paid, I'd really like to make use of those videos.

Any help will be much appreciated!

Hello,

It can be achieved via "Build Combined Video" tool in iPi Recorder:

  • Click "Build Combined Video" in the toolbar of iPi Recorder's home screen
  • Add your video there
  • Select region on timeline with clear (no actor) scene
  • Click "Evaluate Background" button to re-evaluate background from selected video fragment
  • Select region to be saved on timeline
  • Click "Save Combined Video" button
  • After that you can process resulted iPiVideo file in iPi Mocap Studio

Best regards.
Andrew

Hi Andrew,

I wonder if it is possible to evaluate the background from one video and use that for the background as the other video. I realise there are a couple of videos i don't have clear scene recorded.

Many thanks,
Mia
