Post subject:  Kinect v1 doesn't work on my new Laptop
Hello!

I currently set up my new Laptop they gave me for free, and I wanted to use this for Mocap on my Kinect v1 while I'm in college so I don't get bored during my free hours. While upon installing all of the necessary drivers I came across this error on Device Manager (Shown Screenshots Below), I tried using every method to make it work on this Laptop but nothing! I recently connected my Kinect v2 into this laptop and it works without problems but not for the kinect v1, can anybody help me with this please?

My laptop is a Lenovo Thinkpad E15 Gen 4.

Hi. Is it kinect for windows or kinect 360?

In this case I completely uninstall everything and follow ipisoft instructions. Try changing ports too. You know there might be issues with certain USB controllers.

Anyway, the v2 is way better. So worst case scenario you are still in a good place.
