I'm trying to get iPi Recorder to register two Kinects I bought for this. I followed all the instructions and tutorials for the software and drivers as far as I know. I've got UsbDk and libfreenect installed, but no matter what I do, Recorder will not even register one of them. I know my laptop is registering them, because they show up in other programs, and I get that "what do you want to do with this device" notif when I plug them in.

Any idea on what I'm missing? Can someone give me like a checklist to go through to make sure I do in fact have everything in place? I apologize in advance if the solution is stupid and obvious.

Please try the following steps:

• Unplug all Kinects from your PC/laptop
• Uninstall all software and drivers that contain "Kinect" word in their names
• Reboot
• Download and install official MS Kinect SDK 2.0
• Reboot
• Plug one Kinect v2 device to your PC/laptop
• Start iPi Recorder. Does it see this Kinect v2 device?
• After that please come back here with results and we'll discuss next steps

It still says not available after doing all that.

Then, please click "Camera types" button on home screen of iPi Recorder and make sure that "Microsoft Kinect 2" item is shown as installed and enabled while "Microsoft Kinect 2 (libfreenect2)" item is disabled and shown as gray. If no then (re)install and/or enable "Microsoft Kinect 2" and disable "Microsoft Kinect 2 (libfreenect2)". Also, if you installed libusbK drivers for Kinect v2, please don't forget to uninstall them manually as described here.

It was disabled, but once I clicked enable, it told me I didn't have UsbDk or LibusbK installed. Why is it asking me this if I need to uninstall them?!
