Are the correct/incorrect poses mislabeled in the User Guide? The 3D skeleton and skin are set up with the palms facing the ground, but the image shows the T-Pose with the palms facing forward. I'm checking tracking with a T-Pose with Palms facing down like they are on the skeleton. |

As far as the rig is concerned, it was mentioned in another post that it currently doesn't matter. The palms down for the rig is, I believe, standard for mocap programs like Motion Builder. I think it's suggested to have palms forward for the performer is because palms forward gives a clearer target to the cameras. The reason this visual conflict between the rig and performer doesn't matter right now, as I understand it, is because iPi doesn't track wrist rotations. (Yet, I hope.) Keep in mind that I'm not a techie or especially 'in the know', and this is just my personal guess on the subject. :) G. |

So far I've gotten great results with palms down. Thats at 640x480 and 30 FPS. I'm currently processing a nearly identical clip at 320x240 at 30 FPS. Those are the constraints I'm stuck with on my current computer. |
