Is it just me or is pause not working in build .111? I can pause but when pressing play to resume, it looks like the timeline scrubber has continued to move in the background and it resumes not from where the pause button was pressed but from where the time frames have continued to be counted.

I noticed thanks :)

What about the crash "ipistudio has stopped working" after importing an animation (nothing else done yet), then trying to apply the jitter filter. For me it always seems to crash as soon as it starts to do the filtering.

Should I be able to just open DMC, import a bvh which was previously exported from DMC and then play around with the jitter filter? I feel that I should be able to do this but can't due to this crash. Is it just me?

I'm not seeing the crash you described; this build seems pretty stable to me so far. That said, with previous builds I would occasionally get a crash on launch, but on the second try, iPi DMC would launch without a problem and be pretty stable from there. This particular crash was totally random so I wasn't sure how to report it. But so far today, I haven't seen this crash with the current build. That doesn't mean it won't happen, but I'll take note if it does.

Today I opened project I used for the last test I posted on YouTube in 112. I have a version of the project that contained only the first tracking pass with no Jitter Removal applied, so I was able to quickly judge the new Configurable Jitter Removal without fully retracking the project. Then, later in the afternoon, I did a complete re-track of the footage to see how overall precision was improved. I have to say, I'm very impressed with this build. The new tracking precision and Jitter Removal improvements are making my motion capture data look rock solid...and this is with my old four camera data! Excellent work guys!

Tomorrow morning I'll instal the SSD and the two additional cameras. I probably won't get to record a new session till later in the week because I'm tied up with other parts of the project right now, but I'm very excited about this update and I can't wait to see what I'll get using six cameras.

So the issue that I'm seeing isn't when opening a project but literally just starting DMC, the import animation as bvh.

This is against the blue background with no video file loaded.

Can you apply jitters filers to this? Mine crashes.

I didn't have the same problem when opening a project.

I just want to load a bvh and jitters filter that if possible otherwise I have to retrack.

Sorry but you cannot apply jitter removal algorithm to imported animations. Jitter removal filter needs some invisible information stored in project file and not exported to animation.

By the way, you do not need to "re-track" just because you want to re-apply jitter removal. By design, jitter removal filter starts from "raw" animation data (the data that was stored before any post processing was applied). So you can apply jitter removal filter multiple times, it will correctly "cancel" previous post-processing and apply new one.

I can confirm that the new Configurable Jitter Removal works with existing projects without re-tracking. I had saved a version of my old project file before Jitter Removal had been applied. (I tend to save a lot of iterations just for situations like this.) After opening the project in 112, I could apply the new CJR to compare with the old one. Later that day, I ran a full retrack in the project to test the tracking precision in the new build.

Both the new CJR and general tracking produced significantly better results for my old project file. So, while you don't need to re-track to see improved results, IMO it may be worth the time to do so.

Thanks Michael, that's all I wanted to know. I suspected as much but wasn't sure and when it crashed when I tried, I didn't know if this was something should work or not. Doesn't matter if it crashes when it was never going to work :)

This is good to know! I had been reloading saved pre-'jitter removed' version of projects if I needed to change Jitter Removal settings. Knowing I don't have to do that will speed things up for me.
