![]() I cannot use ipisoft at all, every time I start it up the skin is all messed up and makes refitting impossible. This is from a fresh install on a Windows XP Pro SP3 system, AMD Phenom II x6, Nvidia GTX480(driver 6.14.0012.6658). Obviously I am using the latest version of ipisoft. |

RE-install or get a priest to exorcise your computer. |

Yes, I would download the latest software and try again. I've never seen THAT happen before. Good luck. G. |

This problem can be caused by broken graphics driver installation or unusual graphics driver settings. Please go to "Manage 3D settings" in NVIDIA Control Panel and use "Restore" button to restore your graphics settings to default values. If this does not help, you may need to re-install your graphics drivers and/or DirectX runtime. What is the exact versions of your graphics driver, OS and DirectX runtime and the model of your video card? |

I started noticing the problem in Maya too, skin bind would give the same result as what the ipisoft skin looked like. I found that the GTX 480 has a lot of issues with opengl stuff and when I switched over to my Quadro 4000 card, all the problems went away. |

Wow, I just saw this problem on my Tablet pc. I don't normally run iPi DMC on my tablet so I don't know exactly when this started happening, but this display error exists with 113 and 112 on this computer. The main difference between my tablet and my desktop is that it has a ATI Radeon card in it instead of Nvidia Geforce. I'll try updating the video drivers and if that doesn't work, I'll start regressing the versions of iPi DMC on this computer. I'll let you know which combination works. BTW, I'm not 100% certain I've run iPi DMC on this computer in the past. I've had this computer for a year now, so it's likely that I've run iPi DMC on it at one time or another, but if I can't get it to run after I do the above then it's possible that iPi DMC is simply not compatible with this computer or graphics card. Okay, mystery solved. This Tablet PC has the ability to automatically switch to Intel Graphics Media chip when it's on battery power but I usually have this feature disabled because the ATI Radeon card runs fairly efficiently even under battery. But I recently needed longer battery power over display quality so I had manually switched over to Intel Graphics, and because I forgot that I disabled the auto-switch capability the Tablet PC never switched back to the ATI card like it normally would. Oops! Now that I've manually switched back to the ATI Radeon card, iPi DMC is running just fine on this Tablet PC with 112 and 113. So never mind, all is good. :) G. |
