My kinect cannot detect anybody especially in the afternoon even I close the curtains. I can play only at night or in the morning. There is nothing about that problem in the user manual or anywhere else. What can I do or can I do anything?

That's really weird, especially the part about the Kinect operating on a schedule. I'm assuming you're using the external power supply; have tried plugging something else into that outlet during the hours when your Kinect is not functioning? Maybe the power is intermittent. If it's not that, maybe it's a faulty Kinect or dying USB port on your computer.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for your answer. My television, Xbox and Kinect is plugged in the same power supply and I had not have any problem. As I said, I have that problem only in the afternoon. In the other hours, I can play without any problem. So, I think there is no another matter. I just wonder why the other people do not see something like that. In addition, I buy Kinect from the US and I live in Turkey. I cannot take support. I think, I will play only at night.

I have heard people had Kinect problems depending on the light, so maybe there is some sunlight or reflections in the afternoon that make the IR Camera in your Kinect to not work....

I read yesterday that direct light should not come directly to Kinect. I cannot find direct light but i think, yes, it is about light. İ just do not like that situation. Thank you for your answers.
