iPi, Please start updating all your share it product and affiliate's pages.

There is obviously some confusion being generated.

Thanks and Cheers

Well officially iPi DMC does not support two Kinects yet as dual Kinect support is still a beta feature. Of course, we know better. :)

I would simply direct that person to these forums; there have been plenty of examples of dual Kinect testing with beta software in the past few weeks. Or you can point him to my tech video which clearly illustrates two kinects working with iPi DMC.

Also You cannot export any animation from the beta,

I was misinformed when I asked earlier about this.

I was told that if you buy basic from using basic beta, you could export your animation.

Apparently this is not so. It looks like you have to re process all of your 2 kinect information to export any animation.

Let me know if this is indeed not the case

I don't understand. Nearly every motion used in Happy Box was created using the dual Kinect beta; the animation data obviously exported just fine for me.

I don't know if dual Kinect support will be available in all versions of iPi DMC though. That would be for iPi Soft to answer, and they probably won't say until this feature is out of beta testing.

To clarify, do you mean you processed dual-kinect data using the Express version, then upgraded to the Basic version and found you cannot export the animation from the data you had processed? I have also found this to be the case and yes, I simply re-processed in the Basic version.
If I am misinterpreting your issue then disregard.

Yes, Re-Processing should take care of this.

You must reimport the Blue Movies and re render the tracking.

Right now I have several Sessions that have a dark red arrow in the corner,

And those are un re renderable.

Thanks

Oh, okay, I understand now. I guess that makes sense because I believe Express is meant to only handle single Kinect data. I'm assuming that dual Kinect support will be a Basic and Standard only feature once it's officially out of beta testing. (I don't think iPi has made any official statement about this yet and they probably won't until they're ready to release the final version.)
