(relevant to Kinect) I'm finding the checkbox doesnt change the order they appear on the screen

Cheers

Also I'm finding there are only 30fps options and 640x480 when using kinects, is that to be expected?

When loading a new video in studio, and pressing x to cancel, the new video loads regardless, this should probably be a "cancel" function.

Cheers

It works here, but you should be able to drag the viewport positions if it doesn't. Sorry, I'm not at my main computer to confirm it but I'm pretty sure about this.

Yes, that's correct for Kinect. PS3 Eye can capture 60fps at 640 x 480. The Asus clone technically does 60fps at 320 x 240 but I have no experience with this device myself.

Hope this helps.

Indeed, checkbox is named "Reverse order of MOTORS FOR Depth Sensors". It is used to tweak the behavior of the "Motor of" slider which controls positioning motor of Kinect devices. Yeah, the label is definitely confusing, at least the word should be "direction" instead of "order". We are sorry, English is not our first language :| As Greenlaw mentioned, the order of cameras may be changed by dragging their images (see small font hint above them).

Answer of Greenlaw is absolutely correct. 640x480@30 is the best available resolution for Kinect.

Yeah, it seems like loading just stops and does not cancel completely. We'll try to correct this behaviour in future releases.

Thanks for your reports allowing us to improve our software.

Thanks both of you for that feedback. Good to know about the visual camera order.

Vmaslov if you find you want someone to check over English translations for interface/documentation etc feel free to contact me directly for feedback prior to publication of either.

Thanks
AaronC

Recently, I've been looking through this function and found that indeed this message box is about background processing, not video loading. The message text is "Processing background. Please wait". When it pops up, video is already loaded, and "Cancel" button just cancels the process of evaluating background from video.
