Hey, I'm evaluating this software, got everything installed and running, recorded a take with IPI Recorder and saved it out. Tried dragging and dropping / Selecting New from IPI Mocap Studio, and I get the following error: "Cannot Open File: Device does not support multi-level texture width and height values that are not powers of 2. Parameter name: numberLevels" WTF? Any ideas? |

Hi Please provide us with additional info: * iPi Mocap Studio version * Video card model (or at least graphics chipset) * OS version and bitness * What's your cameras configuration used for recording |

Hey Vmaslov, my specs are: IPI recorder and mocap studio ver 2.0 (whatever the latest is on the website) Win 7 x64 nVidia GTX 560M I'm using a single Kinect setup just to test out at the moment. Not sure what the issue is, but it definitely doesn't like something about my config . . |

Any ideas? I'm thinking about purchasing some PS Eye cameras, but I want to test that I can get the software working with my current setup first. |

This is very strange error. We cannot reproduce it (which does not nessesary mean that the problem is not there). What can be different in your system from other peoples' systems? Could it be that you occasionally disabled your GTX 560m video card and you are using integrated graphics when you see this error? Maybe an update for video drivers can help? Are you using Parallels or VMware virtualization for running our software? |

Hey Michael, Not sure what could be different about it. It's all stock. I haven't disabled the graphics card in it. I will try to update the drivers and see if that helps. |

Yeah, drivers are all up to date. Even tried uninstalling and reinstalling to see if that would fix it. No luck . . . :( |

Hmmm, apparently I was wrong about my graphics card. It's an nvidia geforce gt 425M. It has DirectX 11 support and on nvidia's site it says shader model 5.0? This should be sufficient right? http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop ... m/features |

Fishypants wrote: Not sure what could be different about it. It's all stock. I haven't disabled the graphics card in it. The fact is your laptop has 2 video chips. One is high performance NVIDIA and the second is low performance integrated Intel. NVIDIA Optimus technology automatically switches between these two graphics chips depending on current activity (3d game or office apps). However, it may not decide to use NVIDIA chip when running iPi Mocap Studio. If this is the case, then you should do it manually. Usually there is some Fn key for switching the graphics chip. |

how would you normally switch a graphic chip? I've never had to do that. I can't see a function key for it. http://www.geforce.com/hardware/noteboo ... escription my vid card for my laptop. |
