Post subject:  Not impressed with licensing bug

Hi I went to commence a mocap session today, and iPi studio suddenly tells me my license has expired? I have purchased standard license.

How am I supposed to do any work? I have sent an email to ipisoft@ipisoft marked as urgent as I actually do have urgent work to do.

This is why people use cracked software, I'm seriously annoyed!

As made clear by our discussion via email, the issue was not a bug in license protection system. You tried to use v1 license key for activating v2.
We won't delete your post not to have an impression that we just remove "uncomfortable" topics. It's better if instead you could post here whether our tech support was helpful in this case.

Sure thing, they were helpful, but I think sending the V.2 key out when the new release came out would've been more sensible, to the people who were eligible for the free upgrade.

We did send keys for free upgrades. But this was manual work, so it was not done very fast and possibly a few people were missed. Sorry for inconvenience.
