Hi, I've been seeing this odd spine bending problem for some time now. It does appear to be improved a little with the recent release (2.2.1.145) but it still occurs, sometimes even when the character is not moving around very much and standing fairly straight up: Attachment: SpineProblem.jpg [ 71.72 KiB | Viewed 25127 times ] To me, it looks like the spine is too long for the body and that it has not choice but to bend, (usually to the actor's left for some reason.) You can also see the actor's hip tipping oddly to one side, even when standing straight. If I make the actor shorter than the performer's height, this sometimes eases the spine problem but then this may cause other tracking issues with the arms and legs. I've seen this problem appear whether the performer is me or my six year old daughter, so I don't think it only occurs with just one body type. Finally, I did not see this problem back in version 1.0 so something was introduced in 2.0 to cause this problem. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask, and thanks in advance for continuing to look into this problem. G. |

Especially the hips. I had issues with 1.0 though. |

Oh, I forgot to ask: By now, I'm sure you guys have an idea of what may cause the bending. Do you have any suggestions for what a user can do to minimize the problem until an official fix is in place? Thanks in advance for your help. :) G. |

This can be something we missed in our testing of latest version. Currently we cannot reproduce this problem on our test videos. We would appreciate if you could send us a short test video for this problem. |

Another issue I keep seeing, which may be related, is the right shoulder--it tends to want to move up and stay up much higher than the left shoulder. This is more obvious whe Shoulder Tracking is enabled but it is also there to a lesser degree when this option is disabled. Curiously, when clicking Refit Pose, the right will appear correct for an instant but then it will settle in the raised state. Here's an example: Attachment: 2013-01-23_101213.jpg [ 57.66 KiB | Viewed 25104 times ] G. |

I don't think this is exactly related but I'm also still seeing an issue with feet being clipped at the ground (originally reported a few months ago,) which I think is causing some problems for the legs in certain positions. Attachment: 2013-01-23_124321.jpg [ 55.72 KiB | Viewed 25100 times ] I'll keep working with this--if you guys aren't seeing any of this it might be something I'm doing wrong here. Maybe something about the carpet? As for the spine issue, I'm seeing it in new tests from this morning but I'm not exactly sure what's causing it. I'll try narrow it down so I can reproduce it in a shorter clip that I can submit. G. |

Re: Feet clipping: Now I'm wondering if it's the socks. Will try wearing shoes in the next tests. I first noticed this issue with my daughter but her feet are probably too small for iPi 2.0 to construct properly. I didn't think this was an issue in 1.0 though. I think I still have 1.0 installed--will check this if I have time. G. |

Oh, good...I still have 1.0 online. I'll try to do some comparisons. G. |

I take the feet thing back...the feet clipping on my daughter looks about same in 1.0. In the above example with me as the performer, it does seem a bit aggressive though. G |
